This on-line class will introduce art, design, film and media students to the practical, legal and theoretical issues surrounding copyright and trademark law in the 21st Century.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND SOCIAL CHANGE

The New School for Public Engagement - Graduate, online

This seminar course examines the histories of the photographic image, a subject of inquiry since the mid 19th century. It will investigate the impact of the photograph in various media and consider how visual imagery can or cannot act as a harbinger or catalyst for social change.

COre studio thesis

Parsons School of Design - Graduate

In this two-semester capstone course. students execute a complete body of work and write an 8 to 10 page thesis paper for the thesis exhibition. Students also prepare for oral presentations before a panel of Parsons faculty. 

JUNIOR SEMINAR

Parsons School of Design - Undergraduate

Students will further explore the language and theory of photography, and will begin to apply critical and technical skills in developing a personal style.
